"Promised Future" is 7 "road tested" CVB originals, which is better than 100 rehearsals. Plus 2 covers: our live version of "Take the Long Way Home" is a tribute to Rick Davies, my dear friend & mentor who we lost last year. And "Light Shine" by Jesse Colin Young. I wrote to Jesse as a teenage fan, amazingly he wrote me back! Finding that letter inspired our version, perfectly closing the album.
